It is our great pleasure to invite you to the

17th Medical Chemical Defense Conference
March 27th to 28th, 2019

at the Bundeswehr Medical Academy in Munich, Germany.

This two-day meeting will bring together world-leading scientists and experts in medical research counteracting chemical warfare agent poisoning. Latest findings and research results will be presented and critically discussed during the conference, which will have the topic:

Chemical Warfare Agents -
old problems and new challenges

The main sessions will cover the following topics:

  • Historical Background & Current Political Situation
  • Upcoming threats
    • Analytics & treatment of chlorine intoxication
    • Analytics, diagnostics & clinical experience with opioids
  • Innovative approaches in treatment of organophosphate poisoning
  • Nerve Agent Poisoning
  • Sulfur Mustard Poisoning

 

Registered participants have the opportunity to present a scientific poster (deadline for abstract submission is January 31st, 2018) with abstracts published in the Wehrmedizinische Monatsschrift and in the abstract booklet.

Moreover, we encourage all participants with a contribution to the conference to submit a manuscript related to the conference for publication in a Special Issue in Toxicology Letters. Original research articles as well as review articles are welcome.
